Loves the people at s f! we live near, rarely a walk down to the sea without stopping with drinks snacks on the way back. The short rib tacos black chicken quesadilla belong to our faves! our dog is always welcome on the terrace so that we fall into much!
My friend and I could sit outside on Thursday night and had a great experience. our whole food was excellent! we had the crispy brussel sprouts as an appetizer to share perfect size. my friend gets the turkey and brie sandwich while I had the Boggi cheese steak as my main course. the baguette bread loved! to dessert we had the pleasure of getting a piece of passion cake. service was friendly and fast. I would like to come back next visit!
Conveniently located on Noyes, right next to the CTA Purple Line station, Stacked and Folded is a great spot for fresh, flavorful dishes. The outdoor seating is especially pleasant, provided the summer weather isn't too hot. I tried the beer-battered fish and chips and loved the crispy, yet juicy texture of the fish, along with the accompanying coleslaw, aioli dip, and fries. My only complaint is that at $19, the portion size felt a bit on the small side—I would have expected more than just three pieces of fish. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.
We were pleasantly surprised by the food at this restaurant we discovered while in Evanston. I ordered the BULGOGI CHEESE STEAK, which features tender marinated ribeye, caramelized onions, red and green peppers, and is topped with melted provolone and garlic aioli, all served on a baguette. It was absolutely delicious and definitely a unique dish that I haven't seen on many menus. I also chose a side salad with balsamic dressing, which was a generous portion and incredibly fresh. If you enjoy spicy food, I recommend trying the STACKED SHORT RIB BANH MI, which is sweet and tangy boneless short rib topped with a daikon cilantro slaw and served with a spicy serrano pepper aioli on a baguette. We paired that with tater tots, and everything was a huge hit! I can't wait to go back again soon.
