Hopes and Beans - EVANDALE

This small restaurant is fantastic, serving a delicious and filling breakfast. The staff is friendly and very accommodating, especially towards our three young children.

You can taste the love and care in the food. It's friendly and unpretentious which is a breath of fresh air. I'll be back for sure.

This little gem has been taken over by a family couple recently..... So it's child friendly.... The best bonus is that the breakfasts/brunches are all delicious and generous and well priced and the coffee and cake is most enjoyable too..... All cake made on the premises apparently..... Parking is available wither at the back, or on the nearby side street or on Payneham Road depending on the time of day ....

The coffee here is some of the best i've had, found this place about about a week ago and have been back every day since. the breakfast menu is excellent as is the meal itself. the price is spot on. nice and quiet with plenty of room inside. will keep going back when i'm on that side of town.

This is an interesting café, newly opened on busy Payneham Road. There is street-side parking, but it is safer to park around the corner in appositely named Bakewell Road. A bus comes by the door every 15 minutes. I understand this to be a training café for young people with a disability, or who find it difficult getting a job, and there is some quiet instruction being given while I am there, The café seats over 20 at separate tables with room to spare, and there is a children's corner as well. The décor is clean and smart. I am warmly greeted as I enter by a young man who enquires about my needs and directs me to the counter. There is a moderate range of cake to choose from, some home-made and some recognizably made by Elbio. My cappuccino arrives at the table with a fine froth as ordered. The café serves breakfast and lunch, and is vegetarian. I hope it does well.
