Grand Central And Taverne

Dinner was fantastic!!! Great service!!! I ordered the tuna appetizer, and it was perfect!! My friend ordered the scallops and asparagus, and it too was perfect (and I typically don't like scallops). The service was perfect!!!

Started off ok seated fast etc. We had just gotten married and still in are attire. Bread came to the table, I almost seemed stale, then are appetizers came out, grilled mozzarella. It was gross ..and definitely not grilled, steamed and mush. Then waiting well over a hour and a half and besides a refill on are water, waiter never said a word about are food. Then we see the table that sat down after us get are food. Of course that couple I guess comes every year so maybe they are buddies. At this point I go to tell them we r leaving. They tell us it's plating as we speak, at this point we are starving, and nothing has been good. So we left. I really can't say anything good about this place.

Cook by the name of Brandon tries to hard and goes overboard with seasoning. Making his creations a bit too much too handle. Maybe a little more honesty and be yourself not so much trying to be fancy. Needs to learn how to talk to customers as well. Very rude, impolite, can be irrational, and very argumentative. We will not be back to this rest restaurant as long as he is working there!

Met Chef Brandon, before he prepared our dinner. Nice! We were the first guests. The bread , and olive oil dip were tasty. The grilled Flatbread was so amazing, my wife raved about it! The special that day was beef tenderloin with a sauce demmi, wrapped with buttery philo, over creamy polenta. It was one of the best dishes, I've eaten in a very, very long time! If your ever in Eureka, this is a have to do! You won't regret it.

Service was great, nice romantic atmosphere, but my food was not hot and did not seem to be fresh. My friends lasagna was cold and they had to ask for it to be heated.
