Most of it was too hard to eat, likely because it had been under the heat lamp for too long. I tried calling to voice my concerns yesterday and today, and left a message, but I haven't received a return call yet. Overall, I would rate the food as 2 out of 5.
I drove into the drive-thru to place my order, and the employee just said "Golden Chick" instead of "May I take your order?" I asked for clarification, but the lack of politeness made me uncomfortable. Because of this poor service experience, I chose not to dine here. Food rating: 1/5.
I dropped by today in search of a quick meal and was pleased to see that the menu features roasted chicken, coleslaw, and side salad. What I loved most was the option to substitute the drink in the combo meal for a second side. My total came to under $10, and everything—roasted chicken thigh, coleslaw, and side salad—was fresh and delicious. The gentleman at the window was very professional. I will certainly be returning to this location soon.
So the first time I went on last week food was very good, so I went back the next day I did not check my order before leaving due to food being great the day before, and that was a big mistake food was less than luke warm and was not good at all so I returned to not only order fresh cooked hot food but the lady at the counter asked me did I expect fresh hot food then proceeded to explain to me that she was trying to save money and that it was the chicken that they did not sale the day before warmed up. I only had a blank stare after she openly said that so she proceeded with a I 'm sorry and I followed her response by canceling my order and letting her know we would not be returning to this location at all even the rolls were rock hard but she claimed they were fresh
I come to this golden chick often and the drive thru guy has a terrible attitude. I always get wings and ask that they’re all flats, but for some reason he says “we don’t do that”, and when he’s not there it’s no problem. They even have an “all flats” option that shows up on the POS, but he said to me “we don’t do that, and we’ve never done that,” even the another coworker on the drive thru backed him up which means they’re just calling me a liar. It’s okay, I just went down the street and ask the other golden chick for the same order, they gave me no problems!
