Ume Grill Onigiri House - Eugene

My favorite restaurant in Eugene! They have the best onigiri I’ve ever had. Love the spicy pork plate and their tahini dressing is amazing!

The food is delicious and surprisingly inexpensive. I'd recommend taking it somewhere else to eat because it's pretty cold outside, but that's to be expected with a food truck. Overall really good!Food: 5/5

The food is adequate but I was served by the rudest young woman with long brown hair. While I stood in the cold waiting, she had her back to me the whole time ignoring me until I pressed the bell. She was not at all accommodating or nice. When I said you might want to face customers, she said I don’t need to be told how to do my job, I do it just fine. No acknowledgement of customer service. I’ll NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN

I used to come here a few years back and the food is good basically and service amenable. However, today a young woman with a long pony tail was so rude and so inconsiderate, I can 't even believe she is in the service industry (maybe she 's someone 's girlfriend?? . I walk up and she turns to me and says just a minute while she cleans the window and the counter. Next, I give my order to a person there and said I will be back in a few minutes. I come back and am standing there in the cold and rain while the young woman has her back to me the entire time not checking to see if if someone is out there in front of the window. Next, I ring the bell and she says, I will call your name when it is ready. [only no one took my name down. I do get my order and I told her that she should not keep her back to the front window so long without checking and speaking to customers to let them know she saw them. She said, I don 't need anyone to tell me how to do my job. I do it just fine, in the nastiest, meanest voice. NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN. SHE HAS NO CLUE ABOUT BEING OF SERVICE. THERE ARE OTHER PLACES TO SPEND $13 on tofu and salad.

Way too much garlic for the garlic tofu. It was way too potent. I've ordered this before and never had an issue. Also pretty sure they use butter as their oil. I just assumed this dish was dairy free but if its an allergy for people I would recommend asking before hand.Vegetarian options: Not dairy free
