Fuji Japanese Steakhouse - Eugene

The food was amazing, with a fantastic variety of sushi and hibachi dishes. I visited with two friends for dinner, and I ordered the rack of lamb, which was tender, juicy, and delicious—some of the best lamb I've had in years. The fried rice was also flavorful, and the portion size was generous. One of my friends had a meal consisting of gyoza and two large sushi rolls, while the other enjoyed a hibachi combo of steak and scallops, which he couldn't stop praising. Although it was on the pricier side, it was definitely worth it. I recommend making reservations, though, as the restaurant was nearly full by 6 pm on a Thursday night. The staff was attentive, friendly, and courteous without being intrusive. Despite the busy dinner crowd, our food arrived at the right temperature and in a timely manner.

The food was incredible! I had the steak, chicken, and shrimp on the hibachi hot plate. The chef was very entertaining as well. I would definitely go back again!

I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews, but I ended up feeling quite disappointed. The sushi was extremely lackluster and bland, and it took an eternity to arrive at our table. Honestly, I would have preferred gas station sushi, and that's saying something! My coworkers received their meals long before I did, and by the time my sushi finally arrived, they were nearly finished eating. The service left much to be desired; it felt like we were completely overlooked. Given the experience, I doubt I will return in the future.

These guys are amazing! The design and atmosphere are fantastic! We arrived just before closing and offered to take our meal to go, but they encouraged us to stay and gave us exceptional service. The food was delicious and a wonderful value for the price! I will definitely return when I have more time to fully appreciate their excellent service.

Fantastic restaurant! We had an amazing experience, and the staff were exceptional. My daughter couldn't stop raving about the steak; she said it was incredible!
