Cafe Soriah - Eugene

The food was incredible but the staff obviously discriminated and judged us by our appearance even in normal clothes. The waitress had an attitude correcting me on the names of the food and drinks rudly. I don't recommend unless you're wealthy otherwise you will be treated differently.

Jody is an amazing bartender. The food and service is great. Definitely recommend.

This Mediterranean style restaurant continues to shine. The room has understated elegance with tablecloths and cloth napkins. The walls are light with original art. The steak Diane is still outstanding, as is the duck breast, the salmon, and the prawns. The sliced leg of lamb was strongly flavored with mustard and mint, which overwhelmed it. The chicken casablanca flavors did not blend well. Bread was complementary and excellent. Service was attentive. The house pinot noir and the house syrah were tasty and generously poured. This place is our favorite in Eugene and we dined there three times in 12 days.

Visiting a local friend and someone suggested Cafe Soriah. Had dinner there last night. I was very impressed that Chef/Owner In Hamide brought out our appetizer and talked with is. Food was excellent and Alex took good care of us. Wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend.
