Agate Alley Bistro - Eugene

They are constantly expanding their menu to provide vegans. I used to have burrito with no eggs, speck or cheese too breakfast, which doesn't leave much to the left in it, and now they have added a delicious smoked tofu with cale, artichokes, kartoffels and a cashew cheese sauce!

Last year, when I was a new vegan with a family of Non-vegans, I liked that agate alley had to order a vegan black bohnenburger for me. but now that I have been to many other vegan friendly places, I would rather skip these. the interieur is very welcoming and the staff is great, but there is simply not enough food for vegans here.

They have two vegan options that are both listed on the menu. I have the Moroccan stew. it was decent, less the plastic I found in it. but compared to other restaurants in eugene, I would skip this place if they have a choice.

I've been to Agate Alley several times, but don't remember her food ever been as amazing as last week! We had the fish tacos and a turkey sandwich with sweet potatoes and were both really happy. The Brie on the turkey sandwich was a really great addition and the rake on the tacos was amazing! Oh, and the maple diving sauce for the Pommes was the sky! The amount of food was just right - not too much, not too little. Although we did not take part, their drinks menu looks quite extensive and appealing. We will definitely come back!

Yummy Cookie... Great tasting pumpkin cookie, beautifully presented in a box to go. A treat!
