I Smell Bacon - Eufaula

Great place for breakfast. Had breakfast special. 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, oash brews or domestic frits, toast or biscuits and Gravy. Fast service and good food. Great prices. Be ready to share a table and meet new people. Nice people. Saw a few delicious looking cinnamon rolls and cakes in their glass case, it will try next time.

I found myself in Eufaula today. This hole in the wall restaurant saw when I drove past and turned around to check it. The interior is decorated with bacon themes t-shirts, cups etc. Small town Diner Vibe with many locals for lunch. Many people ordered the chicken pancakes, but I had my view of something else. Today we have chicken fried steak. This was also the priciest article on their menu. I got the opportunity to have it with 1) breakfast option that came with 2 eggs your way, hash browns and cookies and Gravy or Toast 2) lunch option with one side and role. I have option 1. Eggs sunny side up. The chicken fried steak looked glorious, to take half the plate and covered with white engraving. This was boiled to order so it did not sit around to get soggy. It came with a steak knife needed for this evil boy. Cut into the knife through the perfectly crispy dough and loosened a cloud of steam from inside a thick cut steak that was comminuted and physically tender for perfection. Similarly, all chickens should be prepared and served fried steaks. That's the gold standard. The eggs were perfect. The Hash Browns crispy. But not everything was Nirvana. The engraving was good, but slightly tasteless, and my biscuits were ever as slight as can be seen in my pictures, as they were not browned. All in all, I'll stop again and arrange it again, but next time with the lunch option to change things a little.

Had a great breakfast here. Freshly prepared, excellent waitress. Very comfortable and casual. Will definitely be back.

Stopped by for lunch on our way from KC to Dallas due to the reviews.We were not disappointed.Service was very efficient and we’ve got our food in good time.The omelet was good and biscuits were soft and warm.
