Chuck's Grill - Eufaula

We, both, had the chicken fried steak. It was very good hot. Mashed potatoes are not bad, salad was just ok but the green beans were delicious. Service was genuine we were checked on often by, who appeared to be, the owner. We'll go back for sure.

Food is excellent, great service. Need to get there more often.

Used to be a 5 star hangout, not sure what went on but for awhile there was a steady decline in food quality and quality of service. 6 months ago I wouldn't have given 1 star. But decided to give it another try the other day and I can't even describe the difference in the quality of the food and the speed at which we received it. It was remarkable. The service needs a little work yet, but I think they're trying and it's also better than it was 6 months ago. Hopefully they keep this cook around if so I have I hopes for this place to get back to its glory days.

We are from out of the area and saw the great reviews. They serve rib-sticking comfort food and it is delicious! We had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra. Also the open faced roast beef sandwich. The portions are large and reasonably priced. Try the green beans if you have the chance.

A friend who lives in Eufala recommended Chuck's. Our waitress was very nice, the onion rings were fantastic, but the steak was the worst my husband and I have ever had. Our steaks were grey on the outside and raw in the middle, looked boiled. Nobody else got steaks that looked like ours so maybe if you are a local you are good. My friend likes it, they were busy, just know we won't be going back.
