Il Veliero - Etterbeek

This was our first visit to il veliero, although we only live around the corner and we will come back soon! we chose the restaurant as we had visitors with zöliakie and have read positive reviews for their gluten-free options. we all ate gluten-free to avoid any chance of contamination at our table and we have alerted the waitress on our gast with a heavy allergy. she was good and eating was delicious (also for two of us who do not eat in the regular gluten-free). our guest was so excited that she had options for her meal. the gnocchi was light and tasty and the pizza was thin crust and crispy. they even gave bread before the meal. for dessert we shared the chocolate torte, which was also delicious. it is always scary to try new restaurants when you have zöliakie, but our gast said she would often go back when she lived closer. So, thanks il veliero. we will be back soon!

You don't have a card machine and we didn't have cash. So we stayed so disappointed without a restaurant booking on Valentine’s.

Very nice welcome and very good pizza, including gluten-free. For gluten intolerant, the place is great, all pizzas are available, also pasta and desserts and even a hot bread to wait.
