The Grand Pavilion - ETTALONG BEACH

After reading some great reviews, we decided to try out this restaurant for dinner takeaway. We ordered Paneer Makhani and cheese naans. While the paneer was nicely cooked and soft, a pleasant surprise compared to other Sydney restaurants, it leaned more towards a sweet Shahi paneer rather than a traditional paneer Makhani. However, we still enjoyed the taste and creamy gravy. The cheese naans were generously stuffed with cheese and remained soft and fresh even after half an hour. It's no surprise that the place was almost full, it's definitely a local gem.

Came on a Sunday night and the whole area was pretty quiet. Came in because of the nice interior and fair amount of customers already dinning in. Ordered mango chicken and a vegetable curry as our mains and a plain naan on the side. Everything came pretty quick and the curry were good, very nice sauce to go with rice or naan. The highlight was the naan in my opinion- was bit chewier than the naan I had before at other places and I really liked it. Service was nice and good atmosphere inside.

Went for an early dinner, and found the restaurant basically empty, meaning we had the full attention of the waitstaff.<br/  <br/ With that in mind, we found the service to be quite good, with lovely family friendly staff close by. The food was absolutely top notch, with a fairly unique blend of spices for some truly sublime food. Would definitely visit again

Delicious!!. Love Grand Pavilion. Have ordered delivery twice and the food was delicious. On one occasion our delivery driver turned up in a full suit. This is the best Indian in Woy Woy/Umina/Ettalong area. Would definitely recommend.

Very good food. One of the best indian restaurants I have been in Australia for sure. Must try hot butter chicken!!We tried this restaurant once and went back 3 days in a row.
