Przekaż informację zwrotnąVisiting Etretat, it was for lunch with family in August 2017 without reading tripadvisor. We have appreciated the proposed taste by this restaurant which is placed in one of the most touristic place in France. Yes, the service is too long but this the same situation everywhere in France. Congratulation to the chief and please for continuing in this way
Clean and comfortable room, we slept really well here. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly and most spoke English. Highly recommended !
I had been to Etretat years ago, but didn't eat anywhere. My gf and I just spent an afternoon here, for the views of the white cliffs, and we liked the look of this building so popped inside for lunch. It's obviously quite touristic (during the summer months tourists flock to this small town), but it was still quite nice with a cozy old wooden structure. The food was great, fresh and locally sourced. We both had muscles in white wine sauce, with chips. The portions were quite large by comparison to what we are used to in Hong Kong... so much so we regretted ordering starters before...Service was good too, with just a skeleton staff over the winter, who were friendly and polite. (it was just 1 cook, 1 waiter and the boss as far as we could see). It's quite a big place, so good for large parties and/or children.I definitely suggest trying it.We paid about 60 EUR, for 2 aperitifs (9 eur), 2 starters (15 eur), 2 mains (28 eur), 1 dessert (6 eur).
Good food in a pleasant environment. The sea food was very tasty and even children find something to their likings. Price quality very well. We will be back.
The high prices seemed to fit the stunning decor of this place, but after being seated we waited for 15 minutes and still had no orders being taken... Table next to us complained about a wrong bill, other table of drinks not arriving for 20 minutes, another table got a wrong order and the waitress started to argue with the guest that he made a mistake... Luckily we walked out before the true disaster!
