Wendy's - Etobicoke

I have been visiting this Wendy's since I was a kid. They have maintained a charming ambience at this location that is akin to attending a community picnic. Once the pandemic has receded I would look forward to using the outdoor tables.

We were here for a late lunch after a family movie date at nearby Cineplex Queensway. This Wendy’s has a drive-thru lane that goes counter-clockwise around the building. Restaurant entrance is on the right side. Front patio has 4 round outdoor picnic tables with umbrellas currently folded as weather is still cold. Free off-street parking available at the side and rear of the building. Lunch rush was over when we walked in around 1:40PM on Sat, May 4. We ordered Dave’s double with cheese combo $9.69), grilled chicken sandwich combo $9.19) and a few items from the everyday value menu: junior bacon cheeseburger $2.19), chili cheese nachos $1.89) and garden side salad $2.19). We sat at the only round booth and waited less than 5 mins for our order to be ready. Burgers were good. Fries were better. I was not a fan of the chili cheese nachos and garden salad but at least they were cheap. Restaurant interior is spacious and pleasant. Hanging directional signs inform customers where to line up, order and pick up their trays of food. Plenty of seating options: 4 lounge chairs next to faux fireplace with flat screen TV above, a few booths and the usual fast food tables and chairs. The booths are obviously the favourite tables as evidenced by cracked seat bottoms and litter underneath the tables. But the pros outweigh the cons and this Wendy’s seemed fairly well-maintained. Washrooms male, female and family) are located to the right of entrance door, past the condiments area and touch screen soda dispensers.

Stopped here today running errands with my daughter...great service. I had the baconator and she had a regular burger. Delicious. Love the atmosphere and service. Food cooked well service quick.

Food is always good and it's hot not like MacDonalds,the drive through is fast and inside it's clean and inviting

Ordered a single cheese burger with only extra onions and lettuce. Got my burger with mayo which I am have allergies towards,ketchup,pickle, extra onions, extra tomato and lettuce. This is a far cry from my pretty plain burger. This is not the first time this has happened at this restaurant. My wife both repeated my order at least four times to the person on cash. Then when you want to talk to someone at customer service all you get is a survey and no one to talk to. They have lost my business. There are a lot of other fast food restaurants out there.
