Stumbled on this place by accident.Great flavors. Even the rice and peas by itself is delicious! Good portion size.Friendly staff.I’ll definitely be coming back.

I stumbled upon this restaurant while driving for Uber and was drawn in by the delicious smell of the food one of my passengers had purchased. I asked about the place and discovered it is a hidden gem for West Indian cuisine in the GTA. Being from India, I found the flavors to be reminiscent of the curries from South India, with my favorite dish being the Curry Goat. The staff, especially Jaimie, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Meeting Michael, the owner, was a pleasure as he is a kind and generous man who keeps prices affordable. Just a heads up, they only accept cash and tend to sell out quickly due to high demand. Michael's Restaurant is truly a blessing for those seeking authentic West Indian cuisine.

I have been a regular at this restaurant for years and it never fails to impress. It is one of the top West Indian restaurants in the city, if not the best.

Great J Chicken with rice and coleslaw and oxtail gravy! $7 for small and $10 for medium. Next time I'll have the goat. Remember, it's CASH ONLY
