The baristas prioritized the mobile orders over in person orders. It took several minutes before I was even acknowledged and then still no one took my order. This is a MANAGEMENT problem not the workers. At some point they were told to prioritize mobile orders. I will take the extra time and drive to the Starbucks on Dawsonville.
I give up on this place for a good coffee. I have always ordered the caramel macchiato but recently it just does not taste right from here or they are out of something. I've given them a few chances now and it just does not taste good. No more!
I don't usually stop at this location bc I have to get out and run into the grocery store but I have gone a few times. I was out finishing up work and ran in right before closing. I checked my app to see that the location closed at 8pm and ran in. I got to the counter at 7:54 and I'm usually not the person to run in late but I'm also aware that this is still within the business hours and there is time to make a drink. I have worked food service many years and we stayed open during our hours of operation. When I got to the counter the employees were busy closing. Not just starting but dumping ice. Register was closed everything was put away. As in they had to have started a while ago and we're ready to clock out at 8 and not close at 8. I asked the girl just to make sure if I could still order she quickly said we are closed. I apologized for the misunderstanding since it wasn't 8 yet and thought they would be open still. I'm getting more frustrated with Starbucks with incorrect orders and expensive $7 drinks honestly I'm going to ks it support small local coffee shops. I don't want to spend so much money on a drink from employees that don't want to work their shift. When I came home and told my husband he was shocked since he was a Starbucks barista and said they were never allowed to just close up like that. My brother was a manger for many years as at Starbucks and I don't remember of being like this. Anyways this location is a big no for me in the area. If the staff can't be bothered to work their shift then I can't be bothered to go there. Downtown has several coffee shops I will be going to from now on. Starbucks was really good to their employees before maybe something has changed and that's why they don't want to be there and work?
Terrible service, the guy who was preparing coffee today had no idea how to prepare coffee. I asked him for more coffee and he gave me more milk. How absurd, I told him I'll pay you more for coffee and he couldn't do it.
Pretty crazy that they’re out of everything just about not understanding who does the ordering but clearly no one also super unprofessional to have your employee on a phone call/video call while taking orders. I didn’t know that’s what we do at our jobs now.
