Sabores Das Maltezas - Estremoz

Maltezas in Estremoz ended up by being our favourite place to eat and drink. It is a lovely little restaurant next to a Gadanha which is a man made lake in the centre of Estremoz. It has fountains and sitting next to it having a glass of wine when the sun goes down is just the place to be. We had breakfast there and the bread was absolutely gorgeous. Lunch of prawns and salad and a toastie of mushrooms and cheese absolutely delicious. All the staff were really friendly and Soraia made our visits really special. We will be back and hopefully we will keep in touch with her.

We found this lovely little cafe when wandering around the town, looking for the famous lake and fountains. Unfortunately right next door there is lots of scaffolding, as someone tries to prevent the next door building falling down! As the sun came out we took wooden seats right next to the lake. Waitress provided prompt and friendly service. We had toasties on local bread with herbs, plus a great fresh orange juice. Simple fare but lovingly done.

Sou cliente deste espaço, e é sempre uma tentação quando entrei no estabelecimento. Hummm, o doce conventual. Perco-me a provar cada um deles. Sei que há novas. Essa será a desculpa para a próxima visita. Mas também posso falar sobre o delicioso e muito bem servido hambúrguer SUPER, com bacon etc. Em conclusão, recomendo fortemente a visita e consumação neste espaço comercial para aqueles que são bom garfo e especialmente guloso.
