The place is in a village without amenities but close to a larger village. Friendly welcome by the owner followed by a pleasant drink of aperitif. We were well advised for a romantic dinner nearby because the restaurant is not open in the week. The place is pretty charming at 2 steps from the equestrian center. The rooms are spacious but old-fashioned, the colors would be to refresh as green apple, pink fuchsia, sky blue ... are really unadapted for the place that is the farm body. There is no TV in the rooms but a small TV in the common room, so you should not have different tastes for the program! Prefer cinema in Troyes which is great in order to avoid conflicts! The heating is done via a radiator on wheels...bof bof. There are toilets and a bathroom with shower and sink in the rooms which is a very good point. The bed linen is medium and rudimentary: 1 4-foot bed linen overlooked by a mattress on which are laid 2 low-end pillows not mellow and very fine without crossing. The proximity of the equestrian center brings flies, mosquitoes and other small beasts. Cleanness is medium, dead insects are found in the ceilings. Breakfast is sufficient and good, served by the owner between 9h and 9h30. The tot lifts can wait by observing the equestrian center in the morning with the care of the horses, if you are in a room placed on the right side obviously. The place is nice but the services and the standing are to be improved.
We had a family weekend in late January. warm welcome, very friendly restaurant with varied dishes. We ate a very good savoyard fondue (very copyy and two very good desserts, all in a quiet and relaxing setting. We slept two nights in a guest room. Spacious room, quiet. Many materials available (even for babies. All rooms are equipped with a reversible air conditioning, the only flat for us: the 1st night, the air conditioning didn't work so no heating and with a small 3-month baby, it was hard... Otherwise nothing to say, I strongly recommend you come to this place to rest before attacking the job:
By going to this place that makes both a guest house approved of France), crêperie or traditional restaurant, you will be pleasantly surprised by the reception and calm of the countryside with its nearby equestrian center as well as museums exhibiting the tools of the past century. With a little luck, some Sundays you will hear a local jazz band Alain FOURTIER Camille SANSAULT guitars), Jean-Louis RYCKBOSCH trombone) Denis GRENIER percussions. Pros: spacious rooms, several bathrooms and wc, comfortable bedding, friendly setting if you love horses. Cons: aging decoration, small kitchen for more than 20 people, access to the gite not a rough staircase because it is on the floor so not accessible to people with reduced mobility, no outdoor corner dedicated exclusively for the gite.
