I should have left then because the service was terrible and the food was slow and not of the quality I expected from a popular restaurant like this. Maybe things have improved since then, but I have no intention of going back to find out.
This was the worst experience we have ever had. The staff's attitude made us feel like we were there for a free meal. The service was terrible, it felt like they were throwing food onto the table. I would guess anyone would feed their pets with more dignity. If you don't respect your guests, at least respect the food you serve.
I tried a dish recommended by the chef, although I'm not sure of its name, and it was delicious. Normally, I don't get to eat Indian food because my wife is not a fan, but this restaurant also offers a full standard menu. My wife had the beef dish and she thought it was very good. The restaurant may not be the fanciest, but the Indian food is excellent.
Had a fantastic chicken curry! The pakoras and naan bread were also great! I won't go back for the atmosphere, but will definitely go back for more curry and to try the "tandoori salmon" (only available on weekends.) Best (only?) Indian food in southeast Saskatchewan
I gave this one a higher rating based on their breakfast. I didn't go their for lunch or dinner. It's a basic truck-type stop restaurant. If you want a good breakfast, you can't go too wrong with any Husky restaurant. We usually had the 2-2-2 breakfast (2 eggs / 2 bacon or sausage, etc / 2 toast.) It was fast, and they have bagged lunches you can buy to take with you. You have the option of 1 or 2 sandwiches with a piece of fruit and dessert.
