Starbucks Coffee - ESTES PARK

If you're looking for a place where you can be completely overlooked for 15 minutes while putting away straws, this is the spot for you! It’s not really my preference, but it might suit you. If you actually want a decent cup of coffee, I suggest driving down the hill. Good luck!

There are two Starbucks locations in Estes Park, both of which indicate that they close at 6 PM. However, please be aware that they often close whenever they choose. On the day I visited, one location shut its doors about two hours early, while the other closed an hour ahead of schedule. If you have posted hours, it's essential to remain open during those times, as it leads to customer distrust when that doesn't happen. This is particularly concerning in a town with numerous coffee shops to choose from. Perhaps you should adjust your hours to say, "We open whenever we feel like it."

This Starbucks is situated inside the Safeway store in Estes Park, Colorado. During our visit, the staff appeared a bit weary, but the products were excellent, so there were no disappointments in that regard. We ordered a cappuccino and a frappuccino, both of which were fantastic. I would definitely return. As for parking, it’s conveniently available at the Safeway.

This is the Starbucks inside Safeway, not the drive thru location. There is a high turnover at this location and the current staff is very accommodating. Today my barista was Marcela and she was awesome! I used to work here and I know the challenges of working at this particular kiosk. I hope they can retain the current staff as they go above and beyond to get things done here. Shout out to Vanessa, you rock!!! We'll be sad to not have you here... until then I'll make sure to frequent the kiosk;

This is for the location inside Safeway. We showed up a little before 5:40 on June 8th, they close at 6:00. We were informed they had already dumped all their cold brew and iced coffee because “we close in 20 minutes”. When asked if they can make espresso then (something not premade), we were told “it’s almost time to close,” which we took as a no. We then asked what they did have available and in a condescending manner we were told they could make Refreshers (ie, not coffee or espresso of any kind).I don’t care if they want to close at 5:30, but we needed a drink for a long drive and planned when we’d leave to ensure we’d get a drink. Make your hours accurate so that people know what to expect. The rude service was just the cherry on top.
