Les Cimes - Estarvielle

We 've dined here 3 times now over the space of a couple of years and the food is consistently good value and high quality. Dishes are seasonal and, while firmly of French origin, clearly have some Spanish influences, which reflects the proximity of the border. Everything is nicely presented and the chef obviously has skill. The lunchtime set menu €27 for three courses) was spot on with starters such as Scallops or Foie Gras, while mains included Pork 'Lomo ' roasted pork fillet with a paprika rub) or a delicate steamed Supreme of Chicken which went down well with fussy eater Daughter 2). In the Winter expect to see more hearty dishes such as Garbure or Côte de Boeuf. There are daily specials in the evening. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly the host and chief waiter speaks excellent English and is very helpful. The wine list is short but well chosen and the carafes of house wine are unusually drinkable for not much money. Recommended.

Arrived to a very warm welcome from the owner. He was busy because his waiter was away but considering there was just him and his chef the service was impeccable! We sat on the veranda initially which has a lovely view of the valley. The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated and very clean. The food was excellent, highly recommend the cheese parcel starter and the Tuna main. Very reasonably priced too. A great all round experience, highly recommended.

Absolutely loved this place. A fascinating and quirky decor and delicious food with influences from all over the world. If you're in the area, don't miss out!

Very good small hotel, very quiet, beautiful view. Very nice boss. Since they reopened, we couldn't test the kitchen, but the menu was good. I recommend.

We spent a night and a dinner in this hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. But the kitchen is worth a visit! I ate an excellent gravlax salmon as well as a very good and very carbide. The dishes are homemade and it feels! If I could've put five stars in the kitchen, I would've done it. I recommend.
