We have always enjoyed the experience and now, with their beautifully renovated space, they are bigger and better than ever. The restaurant has plenty of room for socially distanced dining during the pandemic and has expanded their menu to include slushies, shakes, snowcones, flurries, frozen yogurt, hard serve and soft serve ice cream, as well as hot food like burgers and poutine, and pastry desserts like funnel cakes and beavertails. The prices are reasonable and everything we have tried has been delicious. They offer hand sanitizer, contactless card payment, and are mindful of allergies. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and always make an effort to remember their customers and ask about their families. My husband's favorite treats are their waffle cones and ice cream slushies, while I enjoy their flavor burst soft serve and frozen yogurt. We are regular customers and will continue to be in the future.
This restaurant is too pricey for what they have to offer. It's not very visually appealing either, being located in a driveway. I'd prefer to take a short drive down the road and go to the local dairy freeze instead.
Who doesn't love ice cream? Well, I know two little people who do (well, three if you include me, their mom) and we all give this small ice cream shop two thumbs up. It's a great place to take the kids and enjoy your favorite flavor.
Lots of choices of ice cream treats. Hard and soft serve ice cream. Lots of add-on toppings. No inside seating. Some seating outside with view of main street.
Stopped by mid afternoon for some of the best hand dipped ice cream we've ever tasted. Friendly owners, nice setting. Worth a short detour off Rt for a treat. Vegetable stand coming soon.
