Moreover, we had to pay the full price, even if we don't get our order because it wasn't enough. food in the kitchen. it's like we have to pay for breathing the air.
You have to wait for too long to wait for the dishes, we have been broken, we waited at least one hour and we have not yet had the first round. terrible service, we just have to pay the full price by eating only a few dishes. nonsense!
I was recommended by a friend and this restaurant didn't let me down. it was a great experience, very fresh, very tasty. I sit very close to sushi chef, he made every piece right after ordering, not like other (prepared). I like the quality of this restaurant, also the rimp, bark meat and the green teeis are amazing. would definitely come back here.
We were 2 couples and went for the all you can eat menu. We ordered quite fast as we're used to the all you can eat concept. They offer 6 rounds of 5 pieces per person. We filled in the form as quick as possible...but only managed to get to round 3 in 3 hours, because the service was really slow. It took a long time for all food to come. And even in the last round (3) they forgot to bring 5 different sushi's. We were waiting such a long time that we didn't want it anymore. My husband is a big eater and really disliked the long waiting time, because after 2 rounds he's still not full and really needed at least the 3rd round. For me it's not such a big deal because I am usually full after 2 rounds. So if you like to eat a lot, it's better to not go here! Also, we tried to order Baileys on ice but they didn't seem to understand what it is even after showing it on the menu. We were telling them 4 times we wanted that, and it still never came. We all agreed that if the service was better this place would've been great! Note that this is not authentic Japanese food, as the people working there are Chinese. The food was great though, it was very varied in options and tasted delicious. I eat only vegetarian food and there was so much to choose from! Also for vegans are there a lot of choices. In short: Service: 2/5 stars Ambiance: 4/5 stars Food: 5/5 Make sure you have lots of time and patience when choosing the all you can eat option! Maybe the conveyer belt dining is better because you don't have to wait for them to bring your food!
We ate here on a Saturday night. The place was extremely crowded, which is always a good sign. Friends, families, and couples all seemed to be here; it 's a crowd-pleaser. I ordered a few items a la carte, while my partner ordered the all-you-can eat...deal (which is more or less capped at 30 dishes . My items were tasty — grilled zucchini, a dragon roll, and a piece of avocado nagiri. His were hit-or-miss, but nothing unpalatable, except for an end-of-the-night bowl of rice with oil he said tasted stale. The main issue was the service; one server was consistently friendly, while the other was only sporadically personable. For example, while my partner waited literally HOURS for some of his dishes to arrive (e.g., he was in the middle of his third or fourth course before all of the items from Round 1 of his order card had been delivered. , when he dared to ask about one of them, the server curtly snapped, It 's coming! as she walked away. Hard to say whether this was a matter of not understanding how to inflect English in order to sound polite, or whether this was a deliberately impatient retort, but, needless to say, he learned not to ask about his food again. He also noticed that this server seemed frustrated with one of the others for being slow or messing up orders. It was hard to tell whether his dishes were coming out soooooo slowly because someone somewhere was dropping the ball, or whether this was simply a purposeful tactic of the restaurant in order to be able to pocket the full price of the all-you-can-eat special while simply running down the clock on its customers, so that the customers would reach closing time without having had a chance to order as much as they wanted — thus out of luck and out their money. In the end, my partner received nearly everything he had ordered, but you should be aware of this: the all-you-can-eat deal sounds good, in theory, but you may not get everything you ask — and pay — for. (And with the pacing being SOOOOO slow between dishes, you will probably remain hungry enough to continue wanting it. At the end of the night, the server even kept an extra 2 € on top of the tip both my partner and I had already given her, and she was visibly upset when he pointed out the error. Aside from the above, the place has a nice atmosphere, an extensive menu (including an extensive drink selection and some traditional East Asian desserts, beers, and spirits. , and the women 's bathroom upstairs was absolutely spotless. Regarding the complaints we did have — service (speed, reliability, and personality and stale-tasting oil — I feel like perhaps we just caught this place on an off-night. If you 're curious to try Moki Moki, please do. Just make sure you arrive BEFORE dinnertime if you want to have better chances at receiving everything you order from the all-you-can-eat deal. Also make sure that you DO NOT WAIT until each round has been completed before you order more; it can literally take hours for some of the items to arrive, and if you wait for that to happen before moving forward with your menu card, you very well might end up getting next-to-nothing. Also, COUNT YOUR CHANGE after you pay; what the server tells you she is giving you back might not match what she is actually handing you. With a slight attitude adjustment from our server, and with a little bit more efficiency in the kitchen, this could be an awesome place!
