Marbela - Esposende

Great pasteis de nata, good fresh orange juice, good coffee, some of the waiters seem less friendly but they are under a lot of pressure they go very fast it is very busy because some of their pastries are the best in the surroundings. We love to take our breakfast there.

Of all the places to visit in Esposende, this is the most important. When you are tired from walking or cycling up the marginal, this beautiful award winning cafe, is a place to draw breath, relax, meet friends, and enjoy the most delicious cakes and chocolate you have eaten. The coffee is the very best, served by helpful and welcoming owners. We loved visiting Marbela, and became regular visitors for meia de leite and top class pasteis de nata. Sometimes, we would sit outside and watch the world go by. Marbela, have won many awards for their chocolate and their confectionery including competitions in Lyon in France. Don't miss it..

We really enjoyed the coffee and pastries, plus they are very friendly. Well worth a trip to Esposende just for the cakes.

Always a must go when I am in Esposende, it is the best patisserie in the country! Eat there in one of the few tables, or take away and enjoy anywhere. Excelent home made ice-creams, macaroons, croissants, french desserts and portuguese pastry

The staff are always very friendly and helpful in this town centre cafe. The little chicken pies are delicious and lovely cakes and breads.
