Food is good diner food but my last visit was surprised that a Spanish/Mexican restaurant in Espanola has no chorizo! But it was good. Please add chorizo to the menu!
Called in an order for 1 Chili Relleno plate green chili, chicken fried steak and eggs and one side of cookies and Gravy. Picked up the order to find the Relleno plate, was drowned in red chili and there were no cookies and Gravy and no recipe was made available. I asked for a partial refund, Joan got on the phone and was extremely rude and argued that we were in the wrong. It took 10 minutes with this owner to get my money back. HORRIBLE customer service, if the owner can be disrespectful, I can only imagine the rest of the staff. The food was not great and service is garbage 0/10 would not recommend.
Came in a couple times while in the area. The service is friendly and quick and the menu has many options with breakfast served all day. The breakfast burritos are big and filling, the green red sauce (Christmas is what New Mexicans call it) is good, the green being hotter of the two. The bacon is nice and thick. The omelette is good with the green sauce. The biscuits gravy is okay wish it was sausage gravy but I crumbled my sausage. Kids plates plentiful and the cost is not high. Definitely recommend
Breakfast special was a lot of food for a good price. Staff was friendly. Outdoor area was nice with some mountains and water fountain with decore was a great addition. We?ll go back. Favorite breakfast place in Espanola this far.
