Cocina Del Charro - Escondido

We chose to sit on the terrace since the restaurant was fully booked. They have nice heaters out there, but we ended up feeling a bit too warm. I ordered a Chili Relleno, which is my favorite Mexican dish. It was very good—although not the best I've ever had, it definitely came close.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I always order the wet shredded chicken burrito because it's so delicious that I don't want to try anything else. My husband feels the same way about the Taco Salad Supreme for lunch—it’s a massive portion even in the regular size. The service is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. Everyone I've taken there has loved it!

No bad place to eat. We sat fast. The whole staff was wonderful. Granted, I don't think our waiter thought our sodawitz was funny. Then again, who has Pepsi about coke. Anyway, the food was delicious! The most important dishes safe. The rice and the beans were a tad base that could stir up something. The children's menu (under 10) is great. I would probably make it a soft taco, a not hard taco for children under 10. $12 Margaritas who are also big! Excuse the creepy pictures we've eaten too much.

This was the site of our Orange Glen High School 50+ Reunion 70th Birthday Party. We received service by, Hector, however, every server was gracious and pleasant. The accommodations were wonderful and perfect for our special occasion. I would recommend this restaurant for individuals dining out or for special group gatherings such as ours.

First time going here and honestly the food was ok nothing special and the service was okay I really expected much because it's such a nice restaurant but I wasn't really impressed.
