China Fun - Escondido

It has been a long time since Escondido had a great Chinese restaurant. The service was super fast and the food was great. The dim sum was on par with Hong Kong, and everything we tried was fantastic.

However, there were some drawbacks. The bark in the chow fun was chewy, despite following a recommendation from Yelp. The sesame noodles were also hard, and there were some communication issues when I asked for dishes with low sodium - only one dish came out that way. Despite these issues, the staff were all very kind and we left a generous tip. Overall, this was our second visit to the restaurant and we may return in the future.

Pleasantly surprised! restaurant decor was modern and updated for sitting restaurants. looks like they're still moving in with boxes in the dining area. but friendly service and good food. fresh and not as fat as the chains. very good! and they have dim sum!
