Blue Mug Coffee Tea - Escondido

Superb Staff! Very friendly and attentive. Can be extremely busy during the weekends (up to a 20 minute wait). Place is packed at 9AM! I ordered online and arrived 20 minutes later just as they were finishing up. I was looking forward to this coffee since I had a long night and had a 12 hr shift ahead of me. I customized my order as a vanilla latte caramel drizzle. I took my initial sip and thought it was extremely sour. I’m not sure if it’s the beans, the milk or the drizzle but that was by far the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted. I just couldn’t get past the sour taste. I’ve ordered here before a few times and it’s never been this sour tasting. I tried to fix the drink when I got to work but nothing could or helped it. (More half and half, condense milk) not good. Ending up throwing the drink away sadly. Unfortunately I will not be back to order their coffee, it traumatized me. I think I just got unlucky because this place seems to be doing well! Their chai tea latte is good though! I’ll stick to that If I return.

Changing my review to 5 star , just found out yesterday its under new ownership. Really love the new owner. He's really nice and helpful and so was his employee. Didn't get her name but she was very nice . Coffee was very good.

Busy, lots of kids and people of all ages. Outdoor and indoor seating, good wifi, and the americano is would like to see some vegan food options (there is an açaí bowl). All gender restroom.

First time here and everyone was so friendly the atmosphere was great. I'm not at all a Chai person but barista recommended the dirty Chai latte with almond milk and its now my new favorite thing! Highly recommend this place!

It was a wonderful place I would never have noticed if I hadn't taken a wrong turn. Would love to come back next time I'm in the area. Orange peel mocha was delicious! They have some merchandise that they were genuinely happy to sell to you. I love this place after just 1 visit. New favorite coffee shop in the area. Staff was very kind and easy on the eyes, though I won't be a judge for the male staff members. Plenty of seating.
