I am a guest at the Intercontinental Hotel Multiplaza in Escazu and wanted to try a Steak at the Factory. First they have two types of Cuts 1) USDA Prime Cut and 2) Midwest cut. After asking questions to the waiter I ordered a 48 NY strip USDA Prime. The steak was very undercooked , full of fat in which I only eat half of the steak and it was not the quality they bragged about. After I complain to the manager he brings the cook so I could complain to him for the poor quality of the steak , totally unnecessary ! Then the poor waiter took away one beer from the tab because he felt extremely embarrassed. I would never go again to this terrible restaurant because I felt they took me for a fool. This restaurant is in the Intercontinental hôtel of Escazu. But it is a well identified place with dining inside or outside. Modern decor and you can monitor the kitchen operations from your table if you wish do. Specialised in all sorts of beef of very high quality. Generous servings and cooking exactly as you order. You can mix with some mariscos as well. A little expensive professional service not as attentive as you might expect
I went with my +1 and we tried , Octopus, Ribeye, and burger. The king should have been the ribeye but it was too fatty and weird. Pity don't have any pictures except the bill. For a good Ribeye I'd recommend other options such as Doris Metropolitan or Dónde Carlos.
Nothing special, average food abs service is too slow. Would not go again. The only positive thing is the location.
