French King And - Erving

We visited French King Restaurant for breakfast with a large group and a reservation. We waited 45 minutes for the only waiter to take our order and an hour for our food to arrive! It took a total of an hour and 45 minutes before we got our food, with an additional 15 minutes to be served. Despite the long wait, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The waiter did a great job considering he was handling the entire room by himself. However, I believe the restaurant should have provided additional help given the circumstances. Some guests received cold coffee, but overall the food was fantastic. I recommend going to this restaurant for the food, but avoid going in a large group. Our total time spent at the restaurant was two hours and 50 minutes. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. There are no ramps, so be prepared for stairs inside and outside. The bathroom was clean, and the location of the restaurant is convenient with ample parking. Make sure to come hungry as the portions are generous. The restaurant is within walking distance of a motel, making it convenient. The breakfast menu is excellent and available all day.

I frequent this restaurant often and had a great experience on a Saturday for dinner. My sister had the baked haddock, I enjoyed the prime rib, and my husband had the chicken parm with angel hair pasta. The prime rib was cooked perfectly rare, just the way I like it. The next day we returned for breakfast and once again enjoyed a delicious meal including eggs, hash browns, bacon, waffles, and country fries. The restaurant is conveniently located on Route 2 with plenty of parking. The staff was friendly and attentive. If there is a special event happening, the wait time may be slightly longer but nothing significant. Nearby activities include plenty of options. The restaurant is located in a safe area surrounded by woods where you may potentially spot deer or other wildlife. Overall, the food and drinks were excellent.

The pot roast at this restaurant is delicious. The food is excellent, the service was top-notch, the location is perfect, and it offers great value.
