Osteria Gallo Cedrone - Erto e casso

Visiting the Diga di Vajont we had left no time to return to Barcis, where we had decided to have lunch, so the Vajont guide directed us to the tiny, sparsely populated village of Erto where we discovered the osteria. We arrived just a few minutes before last orders, but were welcomed in by the owner and his family. The selection was minimal, and as we spread the choice between four of us, managed to try nearly all of the dishes on offer. The bean and barley minestra and venison stew that I had were beautifully cooked and bursting with flavour, as were the other dishes that I tried from my companions. My wife had one of my favourite dishes from Friuli; frico, a potato and cheese flapjack, which was one of the best I have ever tasted. With an ambience that is cosy and comfortable and a welcoming and friendly host, you shouldn't miss this delight just a mile up the road from the Vajont site.

Osteria con tanti ricordi alle pareti, accoglienza di famiglia, pasta e ragù d' anatra fatti in casa. Bel tagliere di condividere con salumi e con formaggi locali davvero speciali. Bagno pulito, servizio con il sorriso e premuroso. Prezzi giusti.

Sono stata varie volte quì anche solo per un panino da portar via. Do stelle xchè l'accoglienza è davvero fredda,manca un sorriso, il piacere di accogliere il turista. Un gran peccato xchè invece la cucina è ottima e il locale curato. Nella veranda esterna c'è un fungo riscaldato x chi non ha il Green Pass e dove si puó comunque mangiare. . Ottima la tagliata, stra consigliato il tiramisù della casa e anche i taglieri misti. Prezzi forse un pó altini ma se migliorassero l'accoglienza non ci sarebbe nulla da dire.

Ristorante tipico ertanosituato nel centro storico piatti abbondanti e molto buoni.
