Mckenna's Holiday Inn Cincinnati Airport

The property seems quite dated but works overall. The elevators flooring needs updated. The room I stayed in had carpet stains and apparently uninsulated walls. I was called by the front desk to turn my music down which I was playing through my cell phone into a portable speaker. The TV would have been louder but alright. The water was luke warm for showers; I’m guessing because the property is so big. Having a restaurant on site was convenient. Location to River Downs was convenient. The gentleman who checked me in at the desk was kind. The gym area was nice although some buttons on machines were broken.IF you plan to eat breakfast include the option in your reservation or You’ll pay 18 per person on weekends. Weekend Breakfast buffet was thoughtful and had several options including healthful choices. Parking can be overwhelming due to size of property. Figure out which numbered door your room is nearest and park in that vicinity. Not many restaurants on exit. No Kleenex and body wash in room. AC seemed to shut down during the night. We woke up hot as if there is a motion sensor on the thermostat. WiFi was adequate. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Restaurant staff was excellent and attentive. No modern USB charging ports available.

We arrived in our room and there was no remote control and no shower curtain. I called the front desk and requested a remote control and shower curtain. They brought us a replacement remote control but no shower curtain. We had to shower the next morning without a shower curtain and couldn't keep from getting the bathroom floor soaking wet.Beyond that the hotel is severely outdated and dirty with visibly scratched up walls, doors, furniture, and bed. The sheets had stains on them. The best I can say is that the location is good if you have an early morning flight the next day.

We had an early morning flight and used their park and ride service. I'm glad that is something they offer. It was the best part of our stay. We didn't shower because the water wouldn't even get luke warm. We did get hot water in the sink, so we were able to wash up there. When we called in to book the room, we verified the pool was open, and we came down early for that. When we got there, we found that not only is the pool closed, but it has been closed for some time with no plans to reopen it. There was no microwave in the room, and the coffee pot didn't work. I would only recommend this place if you are looking for a place to sleep close to the airport with no real amenities other than a ride.

Whole facility is worn and old looking. Room had telephone mounted above toilet seat in bathroom. Just disgusting.There was a closet in the bathroom. Gross.Had to coat-hanger-lock the door for added security.Room came with free breakfast, but I was not given vouchers upon check-in. Had to go back down to front desk and request to be given my vouchers.Food at restaurant was average. Nothing to write home about. Location is right next to the airport. But I will be choosing another option coming into town.Rooms: Room was worn, dated and had a confusing and unsanitary layout.

Easy location close to airport and I 75. They were busy with a number of different events/activities. Pool was available.Rooms were fine, beds comfy, hot shower!My one observation was the front desk folks were efficient but not super friendly and what appeared to be a manager of sorts was reprimanding an employee as I was checking in which I didn't really need to hear.Lodging wise...it was fine.
