We found everything mega tasty from appetizer to dessert and also perfect from the eyes. Even today, lunch was great at a meeting. Absolutely recommended.

We ate the menu during the holidays. The food was good, but overpriced for what was offered. Maybe worse the service. The waitress was responsible for two rooms and although at the beginning only 3 tables were occupied, we waited for 45 minutes for drinks, after another 30 minutes for the appetizer. The waitress seemed unplanned and clumsy.

We celebrated our civilian wedding at MerkMahl. Mr. Burchert and his team have prepared us for a wonderful day, set everything to ensure that our wishes have been implemented and that we support ourselves in the weather in question in such a way that we could also celebrate outside spontaneously. A great team, great food, great mood! Thank you.

We were 80 with 10 people. Birthday invited. The superior was presented to us by name and offered us an aperitif with or without alcohol with cucumber pieces. He tasted very good, refreshing. Two hot bread slices with butter and salt were then served. The hostess had chosen a clear mushroom soup, delicious. To the main course there were either calfspins with sugar flakes, inlaid radishes and a kind of scrub noodles and zander fillet on potato stacks, sour wort and blood sausage. I chose the calves. The meat was boiled to the point, the vegetables served crispy on elongated porcelain plates. Those who chose the fish were also very fruitful despite the initial scepticism towards the blood sausage. As dessert, a large bowl of cream was served Brulee with mangosorbet, just delicious. Everything was served quickly and hot. The rooms are simple, very modern. The service was very attentive to us. We were all very enthusiastic about this beautiful evening and will remember the Merk Mahl. At the price-performance ratio I can't say anything, we were invited.

After the MerkMahl was closed for one year, it has now reopened in a different place in the building complex from June 2019. As members of the Fitclub Essensio, in the same building, we were curious and have arrived with 4 people in the middle of June in the evening. Beautiful modern furnishings, we like. There were 3 tables occupied (1x 2 ladies, 1x 3 men, 1x 3 persons). It took a long time before we got the card from the service, a young man who apparently seemed overwhelmed and hadn't noticed us for a long time. After the drinks were on the table and the dishes were ordered, there was nothing for a long time. After a quarter of an hour I asked the service for some bread, but that came without any ingredient like butter, dip or the like. We have two antipasti appetizer plates, which have left no positive memories and ordered 3x lamb fillet and 1x grilled salmon fillet. The 3 mini lamb fillets per serving were cooked more than fried and the supplements did not convince us. The lamb fillet cost € 29,00 and was a big disappointment. Overall, we were disappointed. We can make a diet at home and enjoy very little, but in the restaurant we expect that at a high price we also offer adequate quality offers. Including water and wine, we paid about € 200.00 (plus a tip that we still gave, as the young, overwhelmed service did us sorry). The food offer has very disappointed us and has not motivated us to return here again.
