Not to mention, the food is beyond amazing and and so are the people! I rarely write reviews, only when I feel very strongly that a restaurant is great or not so great. Unfortunately, Thai Eatery falls into the latter category. Full disclosure I have only eaten here once, with my family (a relatively large party at 6), a few months ago. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was cramped and uncomfortable and the space felt like it was at or over capacity. Their chairs and space are laughably tight. The air is stuffy and a little difficult to breathe. There was also no music, which felt a little weird for a restaurant that 's packed full of people. Service: Granted we did come with a larger party on a Saturday, and I know restaurants are not immune to labor shortages, but the wait time was still absurd. It took around 75 minutes for us to get our food, and when one member of our party did not have their food prepared correctly, it took an additional 40 minutes for that one dish to be made. The overall time commitment for us to eat at this restaurant was nearly 2.5 hours. The wait staff are perfectly pleasant, but the prep times are atrocious. Food: I 'm willing to overlook a lot of other areas if a place has good food. Thai Eatery should have a certificate on the wall for the most okay-est Thai food you will ever eat. The food we got lacked any distinct Thai flavors (think basic things, like Thai basil) that you might experience at a more refined establishment, and the portions are hilariously tiny. When our food finally arrived, a member of our party said yes! I 'm so hungry... wait, this is the tiniest Panang Curry I have ever seen, this can 't be right, which elicited a laugh from the table. I also got a curry (the Massaman Curry) and experienced the same thing: the portions are absurdly tiny for the prices this place charges. Overall: long winded review, but anyway, you get the picture. Small portions, high prices, poor service, uncomfortable environment. 1/5 feels generous- Thai Eatery definitely has some work to do. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. The waitstaff were really helpful and attentive. They can make just about anything on the menu vegan you just need to ask. We will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: They are able to make almost anything on the menu vegetarian and most even vegan. My wife also kept mentioning how fresh all the vegetables were.
