Over the past year, Hilltop was our favorite spot for pan pizza, especially the meat lovers, which was always generously topped. However, about six months ago, we had a disappointing experience with a pizza and decided to take a break from ordering. Today, while passing through the area, I thought it was time to give them another chance. Apart from that one occasion, we've always enjoyed their pizza! I played it safe and ordered an extra cheese. When I got home and opened the box, I was shocked to see that the pizza was at least 50% crust, with all the sauce and cheese concentrated in the middle. I'm not sure if this is a new way they make their pizzas, but I really don't want to eat mostly bread when I order pizza, and I was extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning, which is a shame because the pizza itself is quite good. That's the only reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 1 or 2.
