Organico - Epping Forest

Our visit today was very disappointing. We requested tap water but it never arrived. The food took a long time to come and we had to ask for salt. Our second coffee was spilled everywhere. We paid for an extra poached egg with toast but it never came. The restaurant is dirty and urgently needs a thorough cleaning. The menu is overpriced for what it offers. The staff was inattentive. I would not recommend visiting this place. Overall, we were extremely disappointed.

Firstly they’d refused seating me with a guide dog puppy in training inside. They said they could not let us being inside “because they prepare food”. I hate confrontation and by this time, my friend who was already there had ordered food so we sat outside (thank god for big coat in November). We had avocado, sun dried tomato and cheese sandwich and two kinds of cake and coffee. Sandwich was very good, but apricot cake was the worst vegan cake I’ve ever eaten, so stodgy with grey whole apricot inside. Banana and chocolate one was nice. However to take them away they were packed individually in the cardboard box and so much packaging which I hated. Also in the apricot cake I could taste a hint of washing liquid or some such thing, maybe utensils not rinsed properly? Finally everything is so expensive! I don’t mind paying extra for organic plant based food but there is a limit. Now there are two more organic shops opened in Loughton with more cafes with vegan options etc, I will definitely not going back to this place.

Great coffee, great smoothies, awesome vegetarian/vegan/organic food and the vegan/veggie sandwiches are my wife and I's favourite thing in the world.

I love the freshly squeezed juice from here. I went with my son who doesn't eat many vegetables and he loved it. They had a great range of snacks for him too. Food is a bit overpriced millionaire shortbread was a little dry.

One of my favourite coffee shops on the high street, and their organic fridges are full of lovely snacks to take away. always a nice atmosphere in here and staff are sweet
