We missed the first seating and waited about 45 minutes for a table at a nice outdoor wine bar across the street. We had Spanish tinned mussels and chips as an app, a huge beet salad next, and for mains, we had a chicken confit dish and gnocchi. There is a nice selection of wines by the glass, reasonably priced. The recipes were creative and ingredients were fresh/local. The portions are large. We spent $150 for two with wine. We will return for sure!

Best restaurant ever! The food was delicious. We especially appreciate that they try to buy local fresh foods. This authenticated our Door County experience. The peaches and cherries that were in our salads were amazing. They also provide so many wine choices. The whitefish- fettuccine dish was very tasty. The service was top-notch and Owen, the manager, was so friendly and checked on us a few times making sure we were well taken care of. Lastly, we were pleased to see how well they cleaned the tables with disinfectant spray, etc. We definitely will be eating at Trixie's again soon.
This place was amazing, the food, the staff, the ambiance. I couldn’t have asked for a better night. We felt so welcome, and were well taken care of. This is a must if you’re in the area!
Cute little place with amazing service. Def worth a visit!Katherine was our server and she was beyond good. She Owen made our experience very special and we were grateful.N.B., You have to go or call earlier in the evening to get on the wait list, just fyi. But we got in quicker than they estimated without any trouble. We had the beet salad which was amazing I highly recommend and the saganaki which was good but I would try other items if I went back. The fresh focaccia bread was outstanding. We had the linguini with white fish. We were warned it was spicy and it was (ask for less spice if you prefer) it was delicious we would def order again. They had a nice wine selection and overall was a great experience! We recommend would go back.
