The food was not fresh, it was shy as if it had been eating for a while. The tacos lubricated like anything but tacos and the service was not the best. They were out of steak I don't even know how this happens, but I know that when a restaurant that is big solo literally at 6:00 on a Saturday is something up
Ay Caramba restaurants are specialized in Tex Mexican cuisine in the Medellin area. I ate my first Ay Caramba with my wife today. The Ay Caramba, where we consecrated, is located in the Buena Mesa restaurant district of Envigado. It attracts a young, trendy, middle-class crowd. We had lunch in the restaurant on Monday afternoon... the restaurant was practically empty with the exception of another group of cartridges. Ay Caramba offers a range of daily specialties for drinks and food. I would recommend checking the restaurant website or calling it. The total bill for a Nachos Appetizer, lomito ay caramba (Sirloin Steak and Pechuga al Carbon (drilled boneless chicken breast, drinks and 10% tip came to 72,000 pesos. $38 US. Ay Caramba Envigado is located on Calle 30 between two other restaurants. The decor is simple and simple, and the seating is comfortable. There are a limited number of tables on the front terrace. (The Flexiglass Markise makes the terrace hot on sunny days. The bar is well equipped with a variety of beer and spirits, but if you have no advantage of a drink, drinks can be a bit expensive. My advice, if you want to go to Ay Caramba for drinks, check out the drinks specialties and happy hours. THE FOOD: The menu is typical Tex-Mex and Grill/BBQ meat selection. For those who want to eat easily, there is a selection of Tex-Mex salads. Appetizers such as nachos and soups are also available. Although the quality of the raw materials used in preparing our meals was excellent, the finished products were tasteless. (textur, freshness and presentation were good. The portions served generously to say the least. Premium beef (Brangus, Angus and American imports can be at premium prices. I ordered the following items from the menu: Nachos especial The house special nachos was a large portion of baked nachos on a bed Chili con Carne, roasted beans, guacamole and a cheese topping. A help from pico de gallo ( chopped tomatoes, onion, jalapeno and cilantro was served on the side. The nachos were marginal... the taste was not at all tantalizing. All ingredients that have added life to this dish should simply not. Lomito Ay Caramba. That was a generous Sirloin cut. Good, delicate Sirloin is hard to find in Medellin, but that was a very delicate piece of beef. The Sirloin was crushed in molten cheese (I couldn't determine what kind of cheese, though. The Sirloin looked delicious, but after the first bite I was disappointed. The meat was tasteless. My potato puree was dry, simple and boring. I was also served a garden salad consisting of half a pound of shredded salad, a small vegetable topping and a teaspoon of salad dressing. I took a few bites from the salad and left him alone. SERVICE: The service at Ay Caramba was friendly and efficient. We tipped our waitress over and over the usual tip. VALUE: With the discount, lunch was not a bad value (if only the food had occurred a few notches. I can return in the future because the restaurant offers an attractive menu that many objects appeal to me. I'm ready to give Ay Caramba Envigado another shot... hopefully, the food quality will have improved.
