Dona Gordita - Ensenada

My wife and I stumbled a night looking for a little snack. we liked it so much that we came back several times for full meal. we tried all foods and everything was fresh, juicy and full of taste: tacos, burritos,...gorditas and, our favorites, the tortas. the owner, carl, has several different types of meat and vegetables to choose. you can't go wrong. it is a small place with a few seats on the desk or they can go and carl will even throw into the tiny container of salsa, so they do not miss it as they like it. we have recommended many of the casual restaurants on trip advisor and dona gordita is at the top of the list. the children also loved it. can not wait to go back when we are in ensenada for the best tortas of all time.

We tried all the food and everything was fresh, juicy, and full of flavor: tacos, burritos, gorditas, and, our favorite, the tortas. The owner, Carl, has several different stewed meats/veggies to choose from. You cannot go wrong. It's a small place with a few seats at the counter or you can get it to go and Carl will even throw in those tiny containers of salsa so you don't miss having it the way you like it. We tried many of the casual dining places recommended on Trip Advisor and Dona Gordita is at the top of the list. The kids loved it, too. Can't wait to go back again the next time we are in Ensenada for the best tortas ever.
