The cappuccino is always excellent quality which is why I go in the morningtime. I’m fussy and used to Italian cappuccinos. It’s also a great option for lunch and dinner. It’s good solid food without being too rich. There is an excellent selection available at a very acceptable price. People from all walks of life eat or have coffee here. There are plenty of smaller tables, but the tables in the window are for sharing and I have often found myself chatting to very interesting people at them.
I've been here on numerous occasions and the food is fantastic. I particularly recommend their coffees and desserts. They are always extremely generous with their portion sizes and the prices are very reasonable. Wish there were more places like this in Dublin!
I call for my Avocado Toast 2 poached eggs and streaky bacon early every Wednesday morning Americano coffee. This is to die for excellent service the Avocado Toast is best I’ve ever had poached eggs are perfect on sourdough bread. Strongly recommend.
I was first drawn to the restaurant by its' iconic name. Turns out, it has nothing to do with the sixties music festival, but is a very common place name in Ireland, bringing up associations of pastoral settings. This Woodstock offers copious portions, and an overwhelming amount of choices at reasonable prices. Come early, as it is quite crowded on weekends and at lunchtime.
I can 't quite believe I 'm writing this as I love Woodstock and have always eaten well here over the years, but lunch yesterday was a bit grim. I guess I have to be honest as much as I like the place, how else would they know to improve it? I had the burger and while it tasted 'okay ', I felt it was as dry as I have eaten in a long time and I bit down right an a hard lump of gristle, lucky not to damage a tooth really. That and the fact I was waiting a long time to be served made it an experience to forget, hopefully a one off as its always been a nice place
