The quality of the meat, the marinade, and the seasoning were all top-notch, and it was cooked perfectly over the coals. The fresh salads and mini meze starters were also delicious. Overall, it was an excellent lunch experience. The service was friendly and efficient, and the bill was reasonable. I will definitely be returning and adding this place to my address book!
We found this restaurant by accident, whilst looking for a similar turkish overrated restaurant nearby. It turned out to be quite an amazing experience!! Food was fantastic, our 6year old fussy eater enjoyed every last bite!! We ordered the Ziyafet mixed grill and it was massive. The free starters and gorgeous salad in the beginning really set the scene. The service was brilliant. I dont usually write reviews on restaurants but felt compelled to today after having a really good meal which didnt even cost much, paid £27 for a slap up meal for two adults and one child and have enough food leftover for next day;s lunch (which they packed up beautifully! Good restaurant for families with kids as it is spacious for pushchairs and they give kids free lollipops. The meal was topped off with free turkish tea and complimentary baklava sweets. Will definitely be returning!!
The food is well prepared and plentiful, with excellent and friendly service. The prices are very reasonable. The rice pudding (Sutlac) is to die for. The atmosphere is better than other Turkish restaurants in the area and it is family-friendly. The restaurant's name has now changed to Ada.
We decided to dine at this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant was busy and the food was fresh. The staff were friendly as well. However, the seating was a bit cramped, making it difficult to move around once seated. Additionally, we had to ask the waiters multiple times for things. The parking in the area was also not very good. Overall, the tasty food made up for the shortcomings.
We came across this restaurant by accident as we were heading for a particularly good Indian restaurant that we had seen before. It wasn’t there but had been replaced by Ziyafet. In Turkish that means feast, or lavish meal, or banquet. We didn’t try the last option but we did try the first two! We were astounded. The first revelation was that the complementary starters that you receive while your first course is being prepared. Normally, in other Turkish or Greek restaurants, we get tired platelets of boring stuff which has quite often come out from a can. Not here! There were dishes of minced peppers, their own hummus and their own yoghurt and cucumber dish. When the actual paid for starters arrived we were impressed by both aubergine dishes: Patlican Salata (Aubergine salad and Imam Bayildi (stuffed aubergine). Aubergines are a key feature in Turkish cookery but they did surpass themselves here. The accompanying salad was full of rocket: not an iceberg leaf in sight! And the bread was freshly grilled, too. Mains consist mainly of grilled meat, fish and poultry served with rice and salad. The kofte were particularly artfully done and all of the meats were tender without being overcooked There are other dishes involving chops(baby beef) liver, and lamb ribs and there is a daily range of stews made on a cook chill basis I couldn’t find a website though there is an identically named restaurant in Eltham in London SE9. This restaurant’s address is 229-231 Fore Street, Edmonton N182TZ and their phone is 0208 807 9821. There is parking outside in the street and they are only two or three hundred yards or so off the North Circular road. Those of you who frequent the Turkish restaurants of Green Lanes in Harringay will love this. Those who haven’t, now’s the time to start! 0208 807 9821
