Ritrovino - EMPOLI

Could not find a barbecue restaurant in center Empoli and moved to a near by alternative. Arrived very late for lunch. Very nice people. Pleasant environment. Good food.

We stopped here for lunch with friends. This is their favorite lunch spot. You order up front from items scrawled on the wall or notes. Their is a big variety of meats, pasta and vegetables. Everything was fantastic. The staff was very friendly. Not sure if any spoke English. And I had my first tripe here, which was quite good!

Super friendly staff, amazing dishes! We had the beef tatar, tripe, sandwich with lampredotto the other cow stomach : . Our kids had a burger and spaghetti with tomato sauce! Everything delicious

If you are looking to experience a true Tuscan meal with locals, enjoying fantastic simple food in a casual setting this should be on your not to miss list. Grab your own place setting, a seat with one of the friendly groups and enjoy either one of the traditional dishes done perfectly like Lampredotto or Tripperia, or if you prefer something more familiar one of the made to order pasta or daily specials. Hamburgeroni is also familiar but with a Tuscan flair. Wine from the local vinyard and of course an expresso with one of the not to miss desserts that will be very difficult to resist. We ate there several times while visiting the area beause the food was authentic and so affordable.
