Party of 4. Service was terrible. 2 Hot roast beef with gravy. Two salads. After asking and waiting I had to get utensils while our server continued taking orders from other tables. I ordered an appetizer I never got and no apology for anything from our server. We will NEVER be back. And no, I am not being tough on our server, not tough at all!! Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I have grown up in emmitsburg area. I have gone here multiple times. My food is always messed up. Service is ALWAYS disappointing!!!! My drink are 10 plus and horrible. 1st drink filled FULL of ice with maybe 1/3 beverage. (I have worked In bars) this was ridiculous! Food Dry shrimp! Medium cold fries! Horrible beverages. Fountain and mixed alcohol beverages Spending over 200 in bill total Staff not appropriately dressed for families oriented. I do not recommend! I will NOT COME AGAIN! UNLESS IM GIVING A NEW RATING!

We stopped in late on a Sunday night 8:30 I think, looking for a light meal. The food was fabulous!! We split the crab dip with little toasted bread slices and a half pound of steamed shrimp. We moved away from Maryland a few years ago and were just driving through this time, and this was like coming home. We've never had better crab dip or steamed shrimp which were big and so tender and perfectly seasoned with Old Bay. The waitress even left a shaker of Old Bay for us. She was super friendly and helpful. We're so glad we stopped here, and will try to return on our next trip south. Delicious!! It was the highlight of our drive home!
