Kirby's Cafe - Emmetsburg

If you go to this small café at noon you will find a packed parking lot. NOT, don't let that stop you for a great lunch. This picturesque café is bigger than you will think inside. Even with a full parking lot, we went in and sat right away, NO wait at all. We were met by our waitress who took care of us quickly. She let us know that the spicy fried cheese was back, and was one of the best appetizers they had, so we had to try them. After I also read that Kirby's might have the best burger within 100 miles, I was up to see what the whole anger was. The spicy cheese curds were definitely made at home, vary in sizes, perfectly seasoned, and as combined with ranch, were delicious. Very recommended! As for the burgers... almost perfect. Extremely tasteful and can say that the meat is locally produced, does not store bought. Would highly recommend stopping for a good meal at Kirby 's!

Food is very good. Very clean and comfortable. Service is good and fast.

Very good food, good service and cheap. Only in the city for a few days, but always look forward to eating there.
