Syrtaki Griechische Spezialitaten

We were talking through Emmerich and decided to eat off the Promenade where we had been dining earlier in the week. It had an outdoor sitting area, and mid-week, it was pretty quiet. The food was delicious, and the service was very attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially for anyone who wants Greek dishes.

Very good food, very good wine, very good frappe (cold greek coffee) and welcoming staff!! Definetely worth a visit!!

We used to eat here regularly and liked it. The food was tasty, portions were big, prices very reasonable, friendly staff....but one day we found A FLY inside of our stuffed wine leaves....That's right...a fly....and it did not just fall into our food...we found it after cutting the wine leave in halves....it must have gone inside during preparation.We complained to the waiter who did not feel like apologies at all, in stead making a silly joke like "You must be lucky that you didn eat it..."We never went here again, I have serious doubts about their level of hygiene.

We usually shop at Emmerich, especially around the holiday season. Our 'usual' restaurant has gone 'down hill' and we only have cake & coffee there now. Looking for a new place to grab a bite, we food this one and Greek cooking took our fancy. The service was friendly and the free ouzo when down a treat! The place was packed & calls for 'take away' were incessant. The food was good, although we expected the Meze to contain different items. We ordered another side order of stuffed grape leaves which were HUGE and excellent! The grilled green peppers (the long thin kind) were to die for. We had an entree for two people which consisted of lamb steaks, giros, slouvaki and chicken or perhaps pork (which you can ask them to hold). It came with a salad, rice and chips. Lots of food, so much so, that we had it as 'take away' as we needed to get back on the road. Even warmed over it was good, so we say, 'give it a go'. Enjoy the atmosphere, friendly service and good, solid food.

In emmerich this Greek restaurant has great food and the service is fantastic. Large selection in the menu.
