Black River Tavern - Elyria

Party friends 70 birthday. very loud inside. eating was excellent! from the door wished it was a wind break cold!

It is a place to eat after a round of golf. However, for a date night I would not recommend. The food was bland at best and not really worth the value.

The food was very good and our waitress was prompt and sweet. Will be going back there again.

Took forever to get our food. And it wasn’t good. Had a workers kids in a booth that got loud. Will not go back.

Nice public dining room off a golf course, menu is much more interesting than what one would expect in that setting, food well prepared, service attentive. The setting would be improved by scrapping Mediocre Soft Rock Hits muzak in favor of Blue Note Jazz or something with more class.
