Red Cabin Custard - Ely

After a long day, we found this beautiful small frozen Custard shop opposite our hotel. The daily special was Key Lime, so a triple bowl in a dish was good for me. Be ready to wait in one line, but that always tells me the quality make it worth waiting. Would stop again if in the area. Why go down to the DQ street when you get the real product here for the same price.

Homemade frozen custard made like my mother earlier! Thickness and creamy so tasty that on my second visit a dish of simple vanilla only to enjoy the rich taste! I wish I were closer than Paul, or maybe it's good I didn't...

Love love love this place! I miss it when we go. The second I told my children that we drove back to Ely this summer was the answer of my daughter Oh boy! We can go to Red Cabin Custard every day! The cream brulee is my favorite, with cheesecake a short second!

We were here while we were in Ely before our Boundary Waters trip. I had the blueberry cake and it was very delicious! The two people who work there are very friendly and offer great service. I would definitely recommend back and everyone!

Their custard is really creamy. I had the vanilla and my husband had the flavor of the day which was black raspberry. They only accept cash or check. No credit cards
