My dad and uncle waited here with a coffee while we were shopping. We then joined them for a coffee; as we entered my mum and sister wanted to go to the toilet, but the older lady told them abruptly they had to obtain a consumption if they wanted to use the toilet. As we didn’t like the way she was talking to us, we simply left without buying anything. Next time, please welcome your guests and they will stay. The staff at Sala de Chá Mimj , just a few steps up the street were welcoming and nice.

We just wanted a quick lunch time toasties and soft drinks. This cafe looked quirky with big picture of Charlie Chaplin outside. There were a few outdoor seats under big umbrellas. We ordered the special toasties, fresh orange juice and still water. The toasties were excellent, with ham, cheese, tomato and herbs, on thin local bread. The orange juice was great. Cafe clean inside with good toilets. Very cheap.

We were struggling a bit to find somewhere for a quick lunch, finding mainly proper sit down restaurants with full-on meals. We finally found this place which offered the kind of menu we were after. Our table was right under a TV which for some reason was loudly playing some cartoons (in english), making the lunch not particularly pleasant. Sandwiches were served in the most bizarre way we've ever seen, where the crust of the baguette had been smeared in butter before going back in the oven shortly. You end up with a greasy thing filled with tasteless ham and cheese. Beer was good (they don't do wine by the glass, only small bottles). Unless you're desperate for fuel, I'd try and find something else. Especially if the TV is on.

Lugar muito charmoso, os proprietários foram muito simpáticos, nos sentimos em casa, tomei uma cerveja preta Superbock aconselhada por ela e estava divina.

Lugar encantador. O proprietário ENCANTADOR. E também pudemos entrar com nosso cachorro. Comida deliciosa, farta e preço honesto. Um 10!!!
