Here it is not only family, mother and daughter cook still, it is also made like a living room. the foods are absolutely great and the appropriate wein (my favorite mia lu) there are also for everyone. The preparation of the dishes is a dense and the ingredients are carefully selected according to my taste nerves and not from the discounter. really great!!!Kleiner tipp: opening hours note
Finally the restoration of the weingut has opened again. It is necessary to know that opening times only extend to February/March and October until December. a week is added during the Rheingauer schlemmerwoche. Here the chefin cooks itself. as an autodidaktin, she has already collected many prizes and looked a lot, because during the summer week a prestigious chef cooks.Of course we had reserved right after the opening. is recommended, because with more than two people there is hardly a place to get in the evening. the ambiente of the local is rustic but cozy and adapts to bids. The service is very friendly and flutter and also special wishes are fulfilled. The dishes are tasty and plentiful and are very lovingly arranged. the menu is not very extensive, but goes far beyond the usual offer of a good taste. next to the standard card there is a weekly change in the offer slemmer card. the wee are first-class, are generously gifted and come mainly from their own cultivation. It is recommended to be on time when bookings, because the tables are awarded after the course of the academic quarter in the regular otherwise.Only small minus point is the relatiw high noise level with fully occupied local (and this is almost always). Our next winter visit is already taken into break again. Finally, we want to know how the next slemmer card that you can see in the web page looks. we are especially looking forward to the mandatory gans in november.
Emehlenwerten kitchen and good weine. only with the parking space below the local it could become narrow.
The family-run good-suffering of the weingut is not always open. you should be smart on the homepage beforehand. when the good-suffering has opened, it is actually well booked every evening, so you better call and reserve beforehand. the device of the gaststube is more rustic, just as usual in a weingut in rheingau (former). it is quite loud and the busy services have to do all hands full to satisfy all the guests. despite the operationality, they are friendly and attentive - no upended deed! the card is oversightable and extends from petty like spundekäs to the rumpsteak. especially recommended are the dishes from the slemmerkarte. we had first a maron-sweet - excellent - and then the delicious "ragout from the local brain calf" and the rumpsteak. everything super tasty, as right as with nuts (no wonder, stand still mother elke and daughter anna in the kitchen), no chicimicki, just honest and tasty! there are so many good-beings in rheingau but Hirt-Gebhardt is grounded and authentic. There are, of course, the delicious weine of the good one.
