Tarana Indian Restuarant - Eltham

This restaurant is fantastic with very friendly staff. We ordered two mixed platters, butter chicken, and garlic naan. We had a great time with my family. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely place, whilst not being the best location it was nice inside. Good customer service and some really nice tasting food. Best tandoori I've had in a long time and they actually know how to spice things, medium was spicy enough to have bite without ruining the dish by overpowering the taste buds. Would have rated higher if their Korma sauce had as much flavor as the other local, but the meat was much higher quality with whole chunks of tandoori chicken in the Butter chicken. Would recommend.

We went for a casual dinner with friends. Every dish was tasty. Every protein was cooked beautifully- prawns, lamb, beef and chicken. Service was attentive and friendly. We had a question on flavour profiles of two curries and our waiter came back with suggestions. Will return.

We decided to try out this local Indian restaurant since the new owners took over just three months ago. We were pleasantly surprised by the well-presented, tasty, and fresh dishes with a nice balance of spice that were very enjoyable. The customer service provided by the two young gentlemen was excellent and really enhanced our dining experience.
